Hi I'm Joslyn

I'm a big sister, a runner, a college student, a shoe lover. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five kids in my family. We all love to run and have adventures in the mountains behind our home. We have our own little orchestra consisting of violins, a cello, a trumpet and the piano. While I am off at college, I am studying Public Health. I want do some good in the lives of others by helping them learn how to be healthy on their own and provide ways for that. Growing up in Las Vegas, I love the heat. But I also love shoes, particularly heels and running shoes, complete opposites, I know. I like to travel and have fun. Being happy is what life is about!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon. My parents and church leaders taught me the wonderful truths of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. But I had to learn for myself that they were truths. By reading the Book of Mormon and praying to God, our Heavenly Father, I have come to know that the Gospel is true and that He loves me. Because I know this, I am going out to proclaim it to the world, I want everyone to have the happy knowledge I do. Life will not always be easy but it will be good with the knowledge of Heavenly Father's constant love and His guidance.

How I live my faith

The biggest way I am living my faith is preparing to serve as a missionary for 18 months. I have received my assignment and am so ready to go teach my faith to others. I am currently on the service committee in my ward. I am also a visiting teacher which I love to do. I am able to make a friend through my companion as well as the girls we teach. Being a friend is a big way I think Christ wants us to represent Him. He turned no one away and loves everyone. I strive to be the same way and look for ways I can help the wonderful people God puts in my life.
