Hi I'm Todd

I'm from Wyoming. I play basketball, video games, and guitar. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love playing basketball, tennis, and guitar. I enjoy singing and performing. I also love playing long boardgames, card games, and real time strategy games with friends and family. I enjoy shooting guns and bows when it's not winter, I also enjoy hunting on occasion. I'm serving as an LDS missionary in the New York Utica mission for 2 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony that God is our literal Father in Heaven, and that He loves each and every one of us. I testify that Jesus Christ our brother and Savior has provided us the means by which we might return to our Father. I testify that families can be eternal and that we can see them again after this life. I testify that, like the prophets of old, Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of god and directs and guides this Church through inspiration and communication with and from our Father in Heaven. I testify that the prophet Joseph Smith was also a phophet of God and saw God and Jesus Christ. I know the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to be the true Church once again restored upon this earth. And I know that my Father and Heaven loves me and has prepared a way that I might return unto Him. This is my testimony, and this is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

As a member of the LDS church I live my faith as Christ would have me. My family and I help those who are in need and those who suffer. I thoroughly enjoy paying tithing and donating to humanitarian aid because I feel like I'm giving to something greater than myself. I always try to help others feel like they belong and for them to know that someone cares for them, it's important to me to make others feel like they belong because i know how it feels not to. I love my fellow man as Christ does and I feel it's important that he knows Christ loves him as I do. I always seek to help others and do service for my fellow man through my Church and the Scouting program.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Tithing is more about us than anything .Tithing shows to the Lord our dedication and faith in him. We all have bills to pay, and obligations to meet. Fear of these expenses can be burdensome, and make tithing a nuisance. But the Lord has promised us that if we put our faith in him he will help us in whatever we need(Malachi 3:8-10). In my life, time and time again this has proven true. Show more Show less
