Hi I'm Whitney

I live with my Husband in Utah. I am an avid sewer and have a love for arts. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love golfing, music, singing, sewing, crafts, and my family. I just turned 25 and am happily married to my best friend. I come from a large family, where laughter and games are important to building relationships. My husband and I love golfing together and we love going fishing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not only because it is important in my family but also because I want to be happy. I grew up in an LDS family, the gospel was always important to my Mother and Father who both held callings in the church. This service has shown me how important it is to serve others. We don't get money for helping others in our callings, rather we build relationships and a closeness with our Heavenly Father for accepting callings. I would be very unhappy without the knowledge I have that families are forever. This Gospel is a Gospel of happiness and faith. We believe that families are forever and that we are Daughters and Sons of our Heavenly Father. He loves each of us and we love him. I have always felt his love in any situation I've been in. I am a Mormon because I choose to be, I've always had the choice, and I'm so grateful for it.

How I live my faith

In church I teach lessons, and help other teachers teach lessons. I also help a group of women get service activities together for people who need help.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Like anything, having similarities creates not only a bond but a connection. I know that through my faith in Jesus Christ and through the Church I have become friends with more people than I ever would have been able to at school. Christ never wants us to be alone and through our faith in Him we are given more than we can ever give him. A good visual example for me is a triangle. Each point represents 1- You 2- a Friend and 3- Jesus Christ. When we get closer to Christ we in turn are getting closer to the Friend. It is a beautiful blessing. Show more Show less
