Hi I'm Sean Crowell

I am a return missionary, I love sharing the Gospel, I love making people smile, I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I love making friends and being a friend to everyone around me. I love to draw art. I am 20 years old. I was called to serve the North Carolina Charlotte Mission, but with the mission boundary changes I also served in the Tennessee Knoxville Mission which is another home for me :) I had such an amazing time on my mission and it was truly the best experience I've had thus far and I have never felt closer to the Lord. I live in Pocatello, Idaho where I have met some truly amazing people and made so many friends that have changed my life completely. I am very grateful for everyone in my life. I am a very optimistic person and love to see the best side of everything. I'm always trying to smile and make others happy. I love talking to people and being there for everyone. I have been a member my entire life and have been wanting to serve a mission since I was only 7 years old. I am wanting to be able to go to school and start an eternal family. I am going to go to school to become a Physical Therapist.

Why I am a Mormon

I have loved every minute of being a Mormon and what it means to me in my life. I once was not going to church nearly as often as I once was and am now. During that time I found it a lot harder to deal with hardships in life. Over time I started becoming more active in the church again and the members still continued to welcome me with open arms and once that occurred it reminded me of why I truly love church it's because everyone is so kind and welcoming it's a second home for me, which is because the Gospel is true and it truly brings joy into everyone's lives and makes them want to share it with others. Being a member of the LDS Church gives me self assurance that I am in safe arms and will be taken care of. I know this church is true. I know that Jesus Christ was sent by our Heavenly Father to redeem us of our sins and iniquities. I know that Christ gave his life for me and you and everyone who has been or will come to this earth. I know that the Prophet Thomas S. Monson is a true Prophet and he speaks words of truth that will guide us in our troubling times. I know that the Book Of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith really did see our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ in the sacred grove and that he did restored The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that through the Atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ, that we are able to return to our Heavenly Father once again. I know that being on my mission is and will continue to bless my family and friends. I know that I couldn't be in any better place than I am now. I love the Gospel.

How I live my faith

In every calling I've had I've tried to be an example to the others in my ward. I always try to lend a hand to people who need help. I served my full-time 2 year mission from 2013-15 in the North Carolina Charlotte Mission and Tennessee Knoxville Mission. I am always trying to do the best I can as a missionary and representative of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Sean Crowell
As missionaries we proselyte so that we can find those who want to and/or are ready to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, if we didn't proselyte we wouldn't be taking the initiative the Lord wants us to and we wouldn't be able to help as many people out as we do by proselyting. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Sean Crowell
Yes we are, we believe in Christ and know that he took upon himself the sins and pains of every people and that he died for us so that we can once again return to our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Sean Crowell
Being a Mormon is the greatest blessing I've had. There is so much joy that comes from being a Mormon. I used to be in a stage of life where I was slipping away from church, and hadn't realized the emptiness I was feeling until after I came back to church and had once again felt the joy from doing so. The Gospel is restored and because of it we can receive the blessings from acting on it. And being a Mormon allows us to be able to exercise Faith in the true Gospel which brings blessings into not only our lives, but our families and friends' lives as well. It's great, it's happy, and it's what I hope everyone can feel the joy of. Show more Show less
