Hi I'm Marilee

I love my family, I love laughter, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

Well, one thing about me, I love people! People are what make my world go round. I love talking to different people from every aspect of life. In high school I chose to study cosmetology, and currently work as that to put myself through my undergraduate and graduate degree. My family means everything to me, I am the middle of five children, and love big families! We are crazy, loud, but we are closer then close!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I don't want to imagine life without it. Jesus Christ died for every pain, joy, affliction, sin, heartache, love, blessing, that I have gone through. He knows my heart, and knows what I can do. Life is not easy, but I cannot imagine life without the Mormon faith.

How I live my faith

Each of us is a child of God. Learning this has changed my perspective. The gospel is for everyone. I served a mission in Los Angeles, California, and with all the diversity there, this church is for everyone. I live my faith by always trying to make the right choice. It's really hard sometimes, when you desire to do something but know it's not right. It's always better to make the right choice. It's important to let people know what I believe.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Church services come in three meetings, sacrament, sunday school, an relief society/priesthood. These meetings give us a chance to come closer to Jesus Christ, by learning of his teachings and applying them to our every day life. Show more Show less
