Hi I'm Abby

I write music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from a small town in Pennsylvania where I grew up as the youngest of eight children. I am currently a college student and I hope to become a nurse and to care for others. I enjoy collecting instruments from all over the world. Right now I play nine instruments, and I plan to keep going.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church of Christ. Because I grew up in this church some may think that I simply follow the beliefs of my parents. This is not true. Their is nothing simple about being a Mormon. I'm a Mormon becuase I know that Heavenly Father loves me and knows who I am and what I need. I'm a Mormon becuase I love Him and I am willing to follow His son Jesus Christ and keep His commnadments. I know that His plan for me is far greater than anything that I could ever dream for myself. With this knowledge He gave me, I choose to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I teach a class on Sundays that is specifically for women. By teaching, I am able to learn more about my own faith and gain a desire to live it more fully. As I allow this desire to grow within me, I have found that my faith starts to show through my thoughts, words, and actions.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Mormons believe that we were created in the image of God. That means, that He has a body fo flesh and bone just like you. We believe that he is perfect, all knowing, and just. He loves us and knows each of us by name. This is because He created us, our spirits and bodies, and wishes us to return to live with Him after we die. Show more Show less
