Hi I'm Aylea

I grew up in Alaska before moving to Utah. I love botany and European history. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Alaska and then moved to Utah when I was older. I always loved learning and am fascinated by history, astronomy, botany, and many other subjects. I developed fun talents like making balloon animals and being a magician. School and learning is my passion but I've put it aside for a while so I can share with others the joy that I have because of what I believe.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church but that doesn't mean that I don't have a testimony. I've read the Book of Mormon several times and know that it could not have been written without the influence of God. I want to be the best person I can be and following the teachings of this church helps me be more loving, more faithful, more hopeful, and more optimistic.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the best I can to not just believe but make it a part of me. Right now I am going to be serving a mission in West Virginia because I want to share the joy that this church brings to me.

Are Mormons Christians?

What is a Christian? There are a few different definitions people give to it but if you think that a Christian is someone who believes in Christ, then absolutely we are! Everything we are and believe is centered on Christ. Without Him, nothing we do would matter because our mistakes would make it impossible for us to grow and improve without His Atonement so we could repent. Some people think we are not Christian because we don't believe in creeds but, well, the people that Jesus taught personaly didn't have them but they were still Christians. We believe in Christ. We love and worship Him and hope to live our lives to be like him. Show more Show less
