Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up in Idaho. I am a convert of 4 years. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to play any sport. I am not afraid to try new things. I am currently serving a full-time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 5, I met a couple kids that were only 6 and 8. We grew up together, and eventually the older one went on a mission. At that point I was 15, and the other one decided that he was going to take me to a church camp. I really didn't want to go, but my mom (a non-member) said that I would without knowing what it was. We got up to the camp and I was really enjoying it. The final night that we were there, they allowed us to go off by ourselfs with only a Book of Mormon to read and pray about whatever we desired. As I read the first chapter of 1 nephi, I felt the need to pray. I knelt down and prayed to know if what I just read was true. I felt the spirit so strong and I knew it was. After a couple weeks I got a call from the missionaries. I started to take the discussions from them and on Feburary 19, 2010 I was baptized.

How I live my faith

Before my mission, I taught the 11 year olds in primary. I really enjoyed working with them. They taught me so much. I also taught the class for the adult males (called elders quorum). That had to be one of the hardest callings that I have had because I didn't feel like I knew a lot, but they helped me a bunch.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Find the missionaries. They will share with you the principles of the Mormon religion in a simple way that everyone will be able to understand. Show more Show less
