Hi I'm Corrie

I grew up in Christchurch, NZ. I now live in Australia and work in the Property Management industry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a proud father of 5 Children, my wife and I have been married for 14 years. I love watching Rugby League and my sons playing football. My working background and studies have been in the Social Work industry where I specialised in working with Youth at Risk. I enjoy technology and like to try and keep up with it all.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a fifth generation Latter Saint, however that alone is not why I am converted to the gospel. I recall as a Child feeling that i knew that Jesus Christ lives, as I attended Sunday school as a kid I felt I knew that the songs and lessons about Christ were true. I have experienced numerous experiences in my life that have strengthened my testimony of the lord Jesus Christ. I know that the gospel has been restored and that the Saviour Jesus Christ stands at the head of this Church.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith every day. Being a Dad its a priority of mine that I teach my kids to be good citizens and that they always show respect to people in the community. I have a responsibility in the Church to lead in Missionary Work. I love this calling and opportunity it gives me to share the gospel with people.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Corrie
My wife and I have entered into the new and everlasting covenant of Marriage. We believe that we will remain married for time and all eternity, if we are but faithful to the covenants we have made. Life is full of challenges and trials. As we strive to do our best to put our companion before us and love and serve them, this will surely come to pass. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Corrie
Not at all, where I live in Bunbury most months between 10-20 of the guys from my Congregation get together and give service in the community. If someone identifies someone in need with yard work like mowing lawns and tidying up we get in and get the job done. Most of the recipients have been non mormon people. It always leaves us with a good feeling when we can give service to those that are in need. When the saviour was upon the earth he went about doing good to others. Show more Show less
