Hi I'm Ali

I grew up in Hailey, Idaho. I am very happily married, and am the mother to a wonderful 5 month old son. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am first and foremost a wife and mother. I have a beautiful 5 month old baby boy whom I love more than I could ever have imagined. I have put my college education on hold so that I can stay at home with my son and give him as much love and care as possible while my husband finishes college. It can be a challenge and so tiring at times, but I am rewarded every day, for all of the sleepless nights and stinky diapers, when he looks up at me with his beautiful, blue eyes and grins and giggles. I love being a mom! I also love reading, spending time with my family, painting and doing crafts.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to church with my family on Sundays and participating in other church activities. My testimony of the gospel has come slowly over the past 23 years. I have never had one big, significant moment in my life when I suddenly knew, yes this church is true. As a youth in the church I watched my parents serve faithfully in their church callings and show kindness to people in need. I knew that my parents knew the gospel was true, and I knew that they wanted me to find that out for myself. As I have been an active member, going to church regularly, praying to my Father in Heaven often to ask for guidance and give thanks, and reading the Book of Mormon, I have come to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I have slowly gained a deep and appreciative love for my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ and the countless blessings I receive from Him each and every day. My life is not always easy, I have struggles and obstacles to overcome, but the gospel of Jesus Christ has taught me to learn from the hard times, enjoy the happy times, and live life to the fullest. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, I know that Jesus Christ lives. I know that if I seek out His help He will guide me. I am so grateful to have this knowledge. It blesses me and my family. It brings me true happiness.

How I live my faith

As of member of the church I have be given many opportunities to serve others through teaching the children in the church about basic gospel principles, helping with humanitarian efforts organized by church leaders, visiting other women in the church to be sure that they and their families are doing well and are not in need, and sometimes, simply being a friend.
