Hi I'm Hannah Carson

I love being happy! I am currently serving a mission in San Jose, California, which brings the most happiness! I'm a Mormon! :D

About Me

I love singing, and reading; my favorite book is Wuthering Heights. I also enjoy being outside and hiking. The hike to Angels Landing at Zions National Park has been the hardest and most rewarding hike I've done. I am a student at Southern Utah University, and though the exams may not be fun I love to learn.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a latter-day saint because in a world where it is continually getting harder to find peace and happiness this gospel offers a safe haven for me. By being baptized and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost he has become a constant companion in my life. Through reading the scriptures, praying to my Heavenly Father, and striving to follow Christ's example, the spirit guides me and helps me make righteous decisions daily. I have read the Book of Mormon cover to cover and prayed to Heavenly Father to know if this church was true. When I did this I felt an overwhelming burning sense of love that filled me entirely, and that is how I have come to know for myself that this church is true. The spirit testifies of this gospel's truth when I listen to the words of his prophet Thomas S. Monson and other leaders of the church, so I know that they are called of God, and that the words they speak are messages that God wants us to hear. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith in the Sacred Grove, and that through Joseph the true gospel was restored to the earth. I am so thankful to have the truth in my life, and I am thankful for the atonement that Jesus Christ performed so that I am able to repent of my sins, and one day return to live with him. I know that God placed me on this earth at this time for a reason, and I have been blessed to have been born in a loving family. I have no doubts that this gospel is the true and everlasting gospel of Christ, and I will stand as a testifier of it's truth in all I do and wherever I go.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying from the scriptures on a daily basis and attending church and the temple weekly to expand my knowledge of our Savior and his gospel. I try my best to be a good friend to the people around me, and to help others when opportunities arise.
