Hi I'm Rachel Rundell

I went to high school in China, and my family lives in Saudi Arabia now. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am serving in the St. Petersburg, Russia mission. I have lived in many different countries throughout my life. I went to high school in China and graduated high school there. After high school I went to BYU Idaho for a semester and than went and lived in Saudi Arabia with my family for a couple of months. I love playing sports, running is my favorite, than volleyball and soccer. I also love to do yoga. All of my friends call me a hippie because I love the environment and I want to help conserve the environment. I love to do service and if I could I would work with NGOs throughout the world. I love this gospel and all of the blessings I have received from it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I know the church is true, I know that Jesus Christ loves me. I know he has forgiven me of my sins. I am a Mormon because I know the temple is the House of the Lord. I know sacred and beautiful things happen in the temple. I love being a Mormon and all the blessings I have received from being a part of this gospel. I wish everybody would know the beauty of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I am currenly living my faith by serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am living my faith by trying to be an example for all of those around me, especially my family. Since I am the oldest sibling I feel like I have a responsibility to be that example for my younger siblings. I am also trying to be an example for my non member friends. I hope with all my heart that my friends will see all the blessings that I have received because I am a part of this gospel. I know that the gospel will be heard to all of those in their language.

What is faith?

Rachel Rundell
I know that faith is believing in things which aren't seen which are true. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Rachel Rundell
I love talking about this subject because I KNOW that we after we die we will be resurrected and be able to live with our family again. I believe that after we die we will all go to the Spirit World and than be judged according to our actions. I believe that by keeping the covenants we have made in this life and enduring to the end will help us to return to the presence of God and live with him again. I cannot wait for the moment when I will be able to stand before God and tell him that I did my best while on this Earth. I know that I will be able to return to live with Him again after this life. I know that I will be able to see my family again and be able to live with them for all eternity. I hope that everyone will want to hear more about this wonderful blessing that we can have because I know it is true. :) Show more Show less
