Hi I'm Jessica

I love most things to do with cars, and music. I love to talk. I am a servant of the Lord. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

So much!! I love cars!! I worked at a car dealership for 3 1/2 years and will probably work there again when I get home from Georgia :) I love volleyball, softball, working hard, playing hard, Georgia, my family, and serving the Lord. I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters. I'm the youngest of 7. I am currently serving a mission in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission. I love playing with my nieces and nephews. I am so grateful for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in my life! aka the Mormon church. I would be very lost and confused in the this crazy world without it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I have learned to love this Gospel. I have been given so much comfort from the teachings of the church on a day to day basis that it would be difficult for me to not be. I've grown up in a very active Mormon family and having been taught everything I know from the day I was born. That alone is easily the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I don't have to wonder to and fro looking for all the doctrine because its all here. The full truth and not just bits and pieces. As I have prayed to know where Heavenly Father would have me and which church HE would have me belong to this is the place I have felt Him guide and direct me to. Having a Heavenly Father to talk to and pray to, knowing that there will be no judgement coming from him, just love. It's the most comforting and amazing feeling in the world. I wouldn't ask for it to be any other way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going out and sharing the happiness of the Restored gospel of Jesus Christ with the fine people in Georgia. I love these people and this great cause! I live my faith by being a week day warrior and not just a weekend warrior. As I read my scriptures daily, attend church weekly, always have a prayer in my heart, take the time to have a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father. Faith is like a muscle. If you aren't continually working it out it will dwindle. In the Bible in James chapter 2 it talks about how faith without works is dead. I know that as I am always doing things that requires faith and striving to increase my faith Heavenly Father will give me the faith necessary to go through whatever trials I will go through in my life.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Jessica
As a Missionary for the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the "Bible belt" I've had the opportunity to answer this question many times. The Book of Mormon is Another testament of Jesus Christ that is a companion to the Bible. It doesn't add to or take away from the Bible. It is our Loving Heavenly Fathers dealings with His children that lived in the ancient Americas. It takes place from around 600 B.C. to just after 400 A.D. It talks and testifies purely of Jesus Christ. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon. It is the most correct book on the earth. I love it. I read from it everyday and it has brought a lot of peace and joy into my life. I learn something new every time I read it. I know that if you read it you can come to know for yourself if it is true or not. There is a scripture at the end of it in the book of Moroni chapter 10 verses 3-5 where Moroni invites all men and women to read from it and find out for themselves if it is true or not. I invite you to do the same. Here is a link that you can find those scriptures. https://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/moro/10?lang=eng Show more Show less
