Hi I'm Jennifer

I grew up in Lehi, Utah and I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, my name is Jenny and I am 20 years old. I am the second oldest of six children. I have an older brother and four younger siblings, two younger brothers and two younger sisters. I also have two wonderful parents that are amazing. My family is the love of my life and I don't know what I would do without them, they give me such great love and support. I have lived in Utah my whole life and I love it to death. It's great to be around a lot of people that have my same beliefs and help me to become a better person. I just finished my third semester in college and I really enjoyed it. I am a music major with an emphasis in piano. I have done music my entire life and it is something that I love with all of my heart. I taught piano lessons throughout high school and it was a great experience for me to help younger children gain the same love for music that I have. I love reading, boating, outdoors, traveling, being with my family, baking, and so much more. I love life and am so grateful to have the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I can't even begin to express the happiness and the joy that come from being a Mormon. I can't imagine going day-to-day without knowing where I came from or what my purpose here on earth was. I have chosen to be a member of this church because it gives me a purpose in life. It has taught me that I am a daughter of God and that I am made in His image. I know that we have come here for a reason and each and every one of us has a purpose and are meant to help specific individuals. The Lord gives us trials and experiences to help us become stronger and a better person. The gospel gives me the knowledge that we can be together with our family forever and that when a loved one dies, we will see them again. I know that the Savior lives and that He is always there for us. He knows everything that happens in our life and is waiting for us to call upon Him and ask for help. We are not on our own, He will always be there. I love the gospel and I know that it's true, without it, I would be completely lost. I know that we have a prophet here on the earth today that leads and guides this church.

How I live my faith

I love having opportunities to serve and help others who are in need. I have quite a few people that live near me who are older and so it gives me a chance to serve them and do service projects with my family. Because I am a music major it has given me great opportunities to serve people with my love for music. For my church I have played the piano for many events and I think one of my favorites is being an organist. I was able to learn it pretty recently and it has been a lot of fun serving others with that instrument. I was also able to help out with certain things when I was secretary and also a counselor and president in my neighborhood and school. These have been great growing experiences for me. I also have enjoyed visiting teaching because it gives me a chance to serve individual people and help them in any way possible.
