Hi I'm Russ

I'm a web designer, a skateboarder, a mountain biker and a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a web designer living in Los Angeles with my wife Kat. I love to learn new technologies and skill sets for work, and I like to let off steam by skateboarding or mountain biking. My wife and I love to travel and experience the world, from camping in the nearby mountains to visiting new countries, Like our recent trip to Japan.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Mormon church, but never had a strong belief in it until I moved out of my parent's house. After feeling lost living on my own, I turned to God and took the challenge offered in the Book of Mormon; I read it and sincerely prayed to find out if it was true. The answer I received wasn't a voice or a thunder bolt from the skies, but instead it was a strong feeling of comfort and love, and I knew that my Heavenly Father was there watching out for me, wanting me to return to him.

How I live my faith

I love that service is a large part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I love taking part in the many opportunities I'm given to help others. For me, there really isn't any way to feel closer to Christ than by helping those in need.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Russ
We can increase our faith in Jesus Christ by following his teachings: by being kind and helping others, by loving our neighbors and by obeying his commandments. When we do these things, we will feel his love and our faith and desire to be more like him will increase. Show more Show less
