Hi I'm Le'o

I'm a tongan I'm a Utahn and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a student at Brigham Young University- Provo. Im majoring in Math Education with a coaching minor. I love sports and I love the thought that I get to coach others sports and also teach math! I think teaching is one of the most honorable jobs in a community because I believe knowledge is power! My father grew up in Tonga and my mother in Las Vegas. Growing up apart of both cultures has become apart of my identity. This sub culture created by my parents and practiced by my family has created opportunities for me to grow up with a different perspective. To love and learn from both cultures and identify with others uniqueness. For me lusipi and Turkey are on the same table at Thanksgiving.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because I believe in truthful happiness. There have been times in my life where I've been made temporarily happy and because it was temporal it wasn't truth to me. Truth means its never ending that the happiness will never end. I am mormon because there are truths taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that have never been temporal. They are truths that continue to make me happy and when life is hard they are the truths I turn to. When trials knock us down I know that they only one that can bring me up is Jesus Christ. He is the truth, he is the light, and he is the way. I am a mormon because I believe Joseph Smith was a prophet. I am mormon because I know he restored the truths to this earth. I know that Heavenly father loves me and my family and he has a plan for me. A plan that He has provided through the Book of Mormon. I believe the Book of Mormon to be His word. I am mormon because I know god is light and he is truth and this is His church.

How I live my faith

I'm going to serve a full time mission in the New Zealand, Aukland. This means I will leave my family friends, work and school/scholarship behind for 18 months to share this bright message. I live my faith by preparing to share my faith.
