Hi I'm Sarah Connors

I grew up outside of Houston, Texas. I work in baseball marketing. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was always a shy kid through grade school, but now my family jokes that I never stop talking. They also joke that they never know where my bubbly personality will take me to next. Who would've thought that the kid in the front of the class would be, well, like me? I sure didn't! I have such big and vivid dreams that I can't sit still! I simply want them to come true. I majored in communications in college so that I can continue working in the magical world of professional baseball...one of those many dreams. I have been very blessed with opportunities for adventure in the past five years or so of my life as I have moved here and there for internships with little teams. I wouldn't trade my adventures for the world! I have learned so much about myself and other cultures, but most importantly, I have learned how to trust in the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

It dawned on me just a few weeks ago the simplicity of the gospel taught in this church. I realized that I could believe in Christ, believe and trust in His atoning sacrifice, and follow Him throughout my life WITHOUT being a member of this church. But that's just it! It's not just THIS church...it is HIS church restored to the world in the latter days. HIS church means to me that He will help keep me on the straight and narrow path to eternal life and salvation. I'm a Mormon because I know that HIS plan is true and He wants me to succeed. There's no other way to govern His kingdom than through His church. I know that this is true, and I know that through the knowledge of this gospel, my family can live together forever.

How I live my faith

I am currently a full-time missionary, about to leave for Trujillo, Peru. I know...another great big adventure is in store for me! How I lived my faith as I prepared for mission work is really simple though: I love kids. Love 'em. I have done all I can to live as an example to those around me, but especially to the children that may be watching. I even had the opportunity to help teach my stepbrother the gospel alongside the missionaries in our area! It was such a great experience, seeing my family come together through Christ.
