Hi I'm Brooke

I have lived in Utah for my whole life. I love to dance, read, play piano, and do ANY boating sport, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. Majoring in special education and I am about to go on a 18 month journey to help bring others unto Christ. I have many hobbies, but the things I love most are my family and friends. Anytime I have to spend with my loved ones is always my favorite thing to do! My biggest passion is definitely boating. I LOVE water, I love every boating sport, I love being out on the water secluded from the world with my favorite people!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know with my whole self that this is the true church. I have been tried and tested throughout my life and I know the only way to get through those hard times is to turn to the Savior and allow His suffering from the atonement heal my pains and sorrows. I know that He atoned for my sins and makes eternal life possible. He is my best friend, the kind that is always there and never falters. I also know that Joseph Smith knelt down in the Sacred Grove and asked God about which church to join after reading James 1:5, and was answered that none of the churches were right. He was given the truth and authority from God to restore the church of Jesus Christ once again upon the earth. I have been in that same place where the prophet Joseph Smith went to ask of God and I know that he was a Prophet of God. I know that there is life after this earth life and we are here to be tested and tried and to obtain a body, if we live worthily we can return to live with God and Jesus Christ as families. I would encourage all who seek for truth to pray about these things sincerely and their answer will come through the Holy Ghost. Just as mine have.

How I live my faith

I am about to embark on an 18-month journey to New York to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am very excited and humbled by the opportunity I have to help bring others unto Christ and help them find the peace, comfort, and joy that only the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ can bring. I know this is the true church on the earth today, and I know that others can have that same knowledge if only they will ask God with a sincere heart and desire to know of the truth, in prayer. I enjoy attending church every Sunday and participating in the many activities the church offers. I have spent the last few years serving in callings that have allowed me to teach and serve the youth and the women of the church. It is so great to learn through those that I am teaching. Every person has such a unique faith, spirit, and story and I enjoy learning from others about how to increase my faith and dedication in my Savior Jesus Christ.
