Hi I'm Mariah

I am from Alaska and love to play volleyball, tennis, and am now serving a mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I was in high school, I raised a pig, turkey and a young beef for my local 4-H club. It was a great expirence that taught me hard work, responsiblity, and good ethics. My hobbies include Volleyball, Tennis, and talking with people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have the opportunity to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ, which is my ultimate goal in this life. I know that this church is the only true and living church on the earth and that it has brought me so much happiness that I wouldn't trade for anything. I know that the Book Of Mormon is the word of God and that it is ANTOTHER TESTIMANT OF JESUS CHRIST, and that by reading it, I gain a strong faith in Jesus Christ and answers to my prayers. It is the keystone of my relgion, and by abiding by it precepts, I am blessed in so many ways.

How I live my faith

As of right now, I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I will be in the MTC for three weeks, and then I will be off to Indiana to preach Christ's gospel. I do my best to follow the example of Christ by striving to become like him. I will continue to pray more firvently and search the spriptures, thus relying on the spirit in a way that will enable me to be a more effective teacher. As I teach my investigators, I will invite them to come closer to Christ through helping them develop faith in Jesus Christ, a better understanding of Christ's Atonement and repentence, baptism by proper authority and recieving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and becoming a member of the church. Hopefully, after this, they will rely on the Lord to help them endure to the end by keeping the commandments and living in such a way that will lead them back to the presence of Heavenly Father.
