Hi I'm Matthew

I'm a native Californian. I'm full-time college student and on occasion, a website designer.

About Me

I grew up in Simi Valley. I spend much of my time doing school work as a full-time student at Moorpark Community College. Right now, I am studying business. However my plan is to graduate from the community college and attend a university to study for a major in computer science and a minor in business. For work, I occasionally get hired to develop a website for a company or small business. I enjoy the work since it lets me make something that anyone can use and see. It also lets me experiment in programming which what I want to make my career in.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a Mormon. Its partly why I'm a Mormon, but its not the most important reason. I'm a Mormon because I have my own personal testimony on truthfulness of His gospel. My life has been filled with challenges and struggles that have kept me humble. Often it would seem like that it was just too much for me or anyone to handle. When ever I was in a bad place, I could always call upon the Lord to help guide me to a better place. Life is a test, a learning experience, and hard times are just a natural part of it. When I think the trials are too much, I think to the savior and what He suffered for me. I realize that He knows what I am going through. I can always call upon Him to help me and know that He will help me. Because of this and for many more reasons, I know the Gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I served in the Family and Church History Mission, and now I teach classes to help others do their family history work. I enjoy helping people discover their family lines and teaching them how to use all of the wonderful tools available for genealogy research. As a Mormon, family history is important to me. I learn about my heritage, who I can look up to, and discover my potential.
