Hi I'm Preston

I grew up in Salt Lake City Utah. I love to smile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have many hobbies, my main hobby is playing sports. I love baseball, basketball and football but I am always willing to try new sports out. I love hanging out with my friends and family and playing board games with them. I am outgoing and always looking for a way to have. I participated in scouting when i was younger and am now an eagle scout. I love to camp and be out doors as much as possible. Being outside and being active is great but sometimes I feel like there is nothing better than sitting down and just talking, getting to know people and how you can relate with them. I have graduated high school and am preparing to go on a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The happiness I have from being a member of this church is almost too much to explain with words. I love Jesus Christ and his teachings, I want to follow him and his ways for eternity. When I do what I have been taught and what I know is right I am over joyed and feel that its the right thing in my life. Nothing is easy in life, butI can testify that the church has made my trials in life more bearable. Everyone makes mistakes, the church knows we are all going to sin or feel we did something wrong, the great part of our church is our chances to be forgiven and get a fresh start. I have a testimony of the atonement, Jesus Christ died for all of us and that we can be forgiven for our mistakes.I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God, I know we have a living Prophet and his name is Thomas S. Monson. Being a member of this church is my life, it means more to me than anything.

How I live my faith

I my community I have done quite a bit of service. I was part of a program called the Boy Scouts of America. In this program you learn several skills that are life changing and on the journey to becoming an Eagle Scout you have several opportunities to do service. In my ward I have a few different leadership positions, in the positions I have taught classes during church, gone to peoples homes to offer service, gone to just talk to others and see how they are doing. You get the chance to befriend members of the community, love them and teach them. Personally I try to talk to as many people as I can, I want to meet knew people and be their friend. Going to church is a great place for this, I love all the opportunities I have to meet people.
