Hi I'm Jake

I love to ski, I love to run, and I love being a mormon.

About Me

I live in Utah and I am preparing to serve a mission in which I leave for shortly in the next few weeks. During high school I enjoyed participating in many sports such as: Football, wrestling, and track & field. My greatest hobby as I prepare my mission is spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church, through my life I have been given strength in my hardest of days that has helped me to get back on my feet. I have seen miracles with my own eyes that have saved my life and those around me from danger. I have felt my saviors love as I've read the scriptures, prayed, and done what he has asked. My savior is my best friend and shows me the way I should go. I am a Mormon because I know in my heart there's nothing else I'd rather be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trusting in the Lord each and every day. I work in a very dangerous environment in which injuries occur somewhat frequently, my Lord has protected me and through living gospel standards I am able to share my faith with those I work with. I spend time with the young men of the ward not just during church activities but outside in which we have been able to create a bond as brothers. Through this we are able to help those who may struggle during times and it helps the young men that they have friends that are always there for them. I live my faith through trusting in the Lord for my safety, guidance and the welfare of those around me. Through doing everything I can to share my faith and the love of Christ.
