Hi I'm Myley

I am from a small Utah town. I am a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 21. Married to a wonderful guy. Going to college and working. I work with special needs persons. Its great because I am reminded that everyone is a child of God. I love running, swimming, drawing, reading, and traveling. I have dreams to work all over the world to be able to experience many cultures and ways of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member because I love this gospel and the peace that it brings me. My life has been somewhat chaotic over the years. I've dealt with divorce, the loss of a parent, and many other things but this gospel has always given me hope. I love knowing that God has a plan for me and that I am not alone. I love the knowledge that this church has given me. I know that I can see loved ones that I have lost again. I know that I have a loving Savior who suffered for my sins and hardships and knows just what I am going through. This church is my rock in this ever-changing world and I love it. It gives me firm ground to stand on when everything else is thrown into chaos. It helps me think about and plan for the future. It helps me make goals and make plans to accomplish them. It helps me sort out my life when things get overwhelming. This church is my peace and joy.

How I live my faith

Throughout my youth I served in many presidencies over the youth groups. I served a full-time mission in Argentina. I loved and taught the people there for 18 months. Now I continue serving in my ward and area the best that I can. I am always looking for opportunities to share and lift people up. Especially with my family as most of them are not active members of the church. I want everyone to have the same joy that I have received from the gospel.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that the family is the most important social unit upon the face of the earth. We believe that God intended us to be in families here on the earth as well as in Heaven. This is why we strive to be worthy to go to the temple and perform work that allows us to be with our families for eternity. We believe that we can be with our families not only in this life, but in the next life as well. Show more Show less
