Hi I'm Chelsey

I grew up in the military. I started my first semester at BYU before going on a full-time mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up loving physical activity, especially soccer. I participated in the soccer, basketball, swim, and track teams in high school. I was privileged to have both leadership and service activities in my school's Student Government as well as in Church. I have the most amazing family a girl could ask for.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the principles and doctrines taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are truthful and righteous. When I live the standards taught by the Church, I am happier and more successful in both my spiritual and worldly endeavors. Although I grew up being taught the doctrines of the Church, there came a time in my life at age 16 when I questioned the truth of my upbringing. I decided I would ask my Heavenly Father if everything I'd been taught my whole life was correct. I had an overwhelming feeling of peace and love enter my heart and life. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches the truth of God. Through obedience and righteous living, I will be with my family, not only for time, but also for eternity. I'm proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a day to day basis. While serving as a leader in my local congregation, I have the opportunity to serve and get to know many of the righteous individuals in my ward. Every month I participate in the Visiting Teaching program, where I visit two of the women in my ward and bring them a short gospel message. My ward of college students is currently participating in a canned food drive. The food will be used to provide dinner for those in our community who wouldn't normally have enough.
