About Me

There isn't really too much about me just that i enjoy everything and there isn't that much that gets me down. i look at every day as a day to improve and pray that i can make the changes in my life sufficient to be a blessing to other people rather than a burden. I am the 3rd of 4 children, with my twin brother Brian being the 2nd. we get a long very well. i am currently serving a mission. i was called to the Idaho Boise mission and since then the mission split and now i am in the Idaho twin falls mission. It is a wonderful place and I've learn a lot. i like to do most things except to dance. and hold my breath for no reason.. other than those two things I enjoy a variety of things to do. such as sports or cultural activities. i love going to church and watching movies... if i had a choice to either see the movie or read the book i would choose see the movie.. my philosophy is ... Why ruin the movie? one way i live my life is always keep trying and never give up. my favorite quote from President Gordon b Hinckley is " If life gets too hard to stand.. Kneel!" I've lived in Colorado most my life and that is home as of right now. After my mission i plan on moving back to Australia with my brother. and there i will start the next chapter in my life! as of right now my career goal is to become a radiologist or inherit a trillion dollars and then who know what would happen!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon not because its easy but because it is true! i found this out when we moved to Colorado from Arizona. i was 9 years old and the Bishop of the ward that we lived in came and visited us. he told us that my stepfathers mother had sent him. he invited us to a trunk or treating activity at the church which we enjoyed and loved. the next day we went to church and eventually the missionaries came over. As they were teaching some vivid things i can still remember is Joseph Smith and 1820... and those has stuck with me for these many years. true conversion doesn't come right when you join the church. True conversion comes after many trials and difficult times in life. but with the help of my savior and my family and church members i have been able to make it through with maybe a few scars and bruises... Nothing that wont be fixed during the resurrection. I am not Mormon because its an easier way of life, or because its the norm or because Mormons don't have challenges because that is definitely not the case.. I am Mormon because i have gain a testimony of my savior and that he loves everyone no matter who you are.. where you are.. what you've done. that the atonement is there to be used not to just remember. I am Mormon because i have received a witness of the divinity of the Book of Mormon though the Holy Ghost.. which by the same power i know that Joseph smith is a prophet and each succeeding prophet since has been called of God. That we have Twelve Apostles on the earth. That God is the same yesterday today and Forever. I am Mormon because it brings peace and happiness into my life, I am Mormon because Families can be together forever! I am Mormon because Joseph Smith had a question. I am Mormon because of my wonderful Grandmother. I am Mormon because of Bishops who fufill their callings. I am Mormon because of missionaries. But most importantly I am Mormon because i have studied it out for myself and gain a testimony of this church!

How I live my faith

Many people live their faith in different ways.. it doesn't matter who you are or what church you go to. everyone is different. i try my best to be the kind of person Christ would want me to be. at times i don't do the best that i should. and I'm thankful that the atonement is for everyone no matter how many times you call you can always get back up. Currently i am serving as a full time missionary in the Idaho Twin Falls Mission.. Here I'm able to learn more about my savior and teach people about Jesus Christ and our father in heaven. It was been a major blessing in my life. i try and help those who need my help and try to be a friend to those who need a friend. The word faith to me is more than just a belief its a way of life. if we have faith in Jesus Christ or in the church we go to. we show that through our actions and the people we are. I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. and i try to live the best i can in whichever circumstance i am in. so that people can see that no matter what comes our way. with a faith and hope in the lord we can make it though all things.
