Hi I'm Cami

Born and raised in Las Vegas. I love nature, photography and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. I love the outdoors, camping, nature, and animals. I think the world that we live in is incredibly amazing. I love taking pictures; it is a creative outlet for me. Music is one of my favorite things; I can't get enough of it. I am a very curious person and love asking questions and learning new things. I love science, languages and cultures, watching movies, playing tennis, singing and dancing.. I love spending time with those I love! I treasure the relationships I have with my family and friends--they mean so much to me. I love to smile and laugh! :D

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a good home, to a loving family, with parents who raised me well and taught me true & good principles to live by. They taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ. As I have grown up and done my best to live the principles of the gospel, I have found for myself that they are true. I gained my testimony of the gospel by living it and testing it. Everything I experience as I go through life only continues to strengthen my testimony. I know that we are all children of our Heavenly Father who lives, knows and loves us, and has a plan and purpose for each one of us; that His perfect Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, came to Earth and willingly atoned for our sins, pains, sorrows, and all the negative things we experience here on Earth; that because He atoned for us, Christ understands EXACTLY how we feel because He felt it ALL, and as a result of that, He can help us to overcome anything we go through--sin or pain. I know that through the Atonement we can repent, change, and become better; that because our Heavenly Father loves us He gave us families and a way to be with them and Him forever; that Heavenly Father listens to and answers prayers and wants us to be truly happy. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored in its fulness through the prophet Joseph Smith; that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and has not left us to make it through this life alone--revelation has not ceased--but rather, because He loves us, Heavenly Father still reveals His will and guides us today-as in times past-through a living prophet. I know that the Book of Mormon is true--it is another testament of Jesus Christ, containing the fulness of His gospel. I know that by following God's plan for us and living the gospel of Jesus Christ we can be truly happy. I am eternally grateful to have the gospel in my life; it is my greatest blessing, and through it I continually find peace, love, happiness and joy. :)

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings regularly. I serve with and help the missionaries in my ward, teaching those interested as well as new members about the gospel. I try to reach out to, serve and uplift my family, friends, and those I come into contact with in any way I can, and I love to donate blood to help those who may need it.
