Hi I'm Kaitlyn

I'm a current college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a big city with a great family. I'm now a current college student studying economics. I play the violin, and love music. I also love cooking, especially baking. I'm very interested in politics and government, and I like being active in my community.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised as a member of the church, I continue in it now that I've left home. I truly believe it and have a testimony of the gospel. I know that God is active in our lives, and that He will help us if we ask. He wants to help us, and He wants us to be happy. Jesus Christ is God's Son, He came to Earth to save us from our sins, He died for us, He was resurrected, and He lives now. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior for all They do for me. I am a Mormon because I believe all these things, and this knowledge has brought me so much happiness in my life.

How I live my faith

I love my current calling in my ward. I am part of a committee that focuses completely on how to serve others in the ward, or just anyone I come in contact with. We perform service for anyone who is struggling with anything or anyone who is going through a hard time. We want to show everyone that they always have a friend they can turn to.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Mormons help everyone. We believe that the best way to show love and compassion for people is to help them. In fact, we have people, missionaries (53,000 of them!), who go out into the world for to serve and help others who are not Mormon. We want to help everyone, everywhere. Show more Show less
