Hi I'm Holly Obray

I grew up in Utah. I love to tumble. I served a mission in argentina. I am studying radiation technology and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have competed in gymnastics and won first on the balance beam at a state meet. I participated in high school cheerleading, and competed in all-star cheerleading. I also snowboard for fun. I love to try new things. I love music. I have played the viola, piano, and my new favorite instrument is the guitar. I am creative and I love to make art. I have learned to design jewelry on the computer through an internship which was a lot of fun. I have graduated high school. II served a mission in argentina. I am now studying radiation technology to help people with cancer. I have a twin brother. I'm a very happy person and I can not seem to stop laughing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always attended church my whole life. My parents taught me how important the gospel was in my life. The gospel brings happiness, and without it there is no lasting happiness. I have noticed this throughout my whole life, and I have tried to help those who are not happy see the happiness the gospel brings. After serving a mission my testimony of the gospel is even stronger, I can not imagine my life without the gospel. Knowing that Christ lives and that he loves each and every one of us so much that he provided that only way to return and live with him and our heavenly father again in eternal families, has blesses my life so much and I have seen that bless so many other lives. I love to help people, and what better way to help people than with the gospel? I know this is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that priesthood power has been restored along with all of the saving ordinances. I know that today we have a living prophet of God who receives revelation for us today. And knowing all these truths I know that I will be able to live eternally with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I have helped and participated in youth group activities. I have helped others in service and humanitarian projects for others such as in the food bank. I have also taught in the primary. I also completed a full time mission in Argentina. I strive each and every day to be an example of the believers in all I do.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Holly Obray
The Book of Mormon testifies that the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in true. We can know this by (1) reading the Book of Mormon, (2) remember how merciful our savoir is because then we have the Holy Ghost with us who will help us receive personal revelation, (3) pray and ask Heavenly Father if the Book of Mormon is true, and (4) we must ponder what we have read and felt in our hearts. As you let the spirit into your life, the truth can be made known unto you. Show more Show less
