Hi I'm Kate

I grew up in Arizona. I graduated from BYU. I moved to NH with my husband and 2 children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kate. I like to read a variety of historical fiction and non-fiction. The best book I have read in the past couple of years is "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubinstein. I love to cook with my husband. Our challenge is to try and create a meal better than one we could buy at a restaurant. Sometimes we succeed and sometimes we don't. I recently transitioned into being a full time mom. I am still learning to define who I am as a woman, a mom, a wife and just a regular person. One thing that keeps me sane is listening to NPR. I am a fanatic about listening to the news. Often I will stream it through my phone and I suppose I feel less guilty about listening to the radio than watching TV with my kids. I am a new mom with a 2 year old and a 3 month old. They keep me pretty busy. I feel pretty blessed because my kids are pretty awesome and I have a good husband

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have prayed and I have felt the spirit confirm to me that this is the true church. I know that Gods loves each person individually. I have faith that if I am faithful in this life I will be able to live with my Father in Heaven in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I am pretty active in my church community. I have the opportunity to attend church weekly. My job resposibilty currently is coordinating a newsletter for my ward. That means that I talk to people in the various organizations and put the information together in a fun little piece of news. I also support my husband who has a leadership calling within our ward. I think that supporting him is just as important as my calling.
