Hi I'm Jill

I grew up in California. I'm a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like music. I play the piano and like to sing. I taught piano lessons for many years. I have worked in a workout club, a counseling office, and a photo studio. I am currently taking an online course to learn more skills. My husband and I love being grandparents. We have five children and fifteen grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was taught the scriptures from the time I was a child. I was baptized at the age of eight years old. When I was 15 I learned even more and was truly converted through challenges a teenager faces among peers. I wanted to be obedient and I was blessed for doing so. Since then I have never doubted even through difficult times. My faith is most important to me. I have a testimony of this gospel and am so grateful to be a member of this church. I am thankful families can be together forever. I love going to the temple. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and want to serve Him by serving others.

How I live my faith

I have served in many capacities in our church. I am presently working with the women. I love meeting new people and getting to know them. I get to meet with them on a regular basis each Sunday where we learn and share experiences together. I get to help those who might need assistance. It strengthens me when I help others in their time of need. I forget about my own challenges.
