Hi I'm Brandon

I am from Delaware and I don't know how I would describe myself, I currently attend college, and I am a Mormon

About Me

I like speaking in foreign languages (Français, Español, Português) and attempting (Deutsch, Nederlands, ру́сский, Arabic) I like learning about History, Economics, Politics. I like watching sports, playing sports, exercising is important as well. I like travelling even though that is really expensive so I don't do it that often. I like Hanging out with people, Going out meeting new people, helping out my family and just anything fun or interesting.

Why I am a Mormon

Greetings, God does truly leads us in unexpected directions right? I don't think growing up I was super religious to be honest I would go to church every Sunday but that was really the end of my religious life. I would still do really ugly behavior and not repenting but I didn't think God if he was even their at all really cared. I vacationed in Hawaii and I visited a Mormon temple, I went to the Visitor Center in Laie and keep in mind I had absolutely no intentions or interest of changing my religion because I was raised that Mormons are part of cult, they aren't Christians, they're just nutty coo-coo. I went inside and I met a missionary from the Phillipines and she gave me the Book of Mormon and I promise I would read it and, leaving I was amazed and fascinated by the whole things I just had to know more. I eventually went on ironically mormon.org one night and I eventually got in touch with missionaries online and they help me a lot and help me build the courage to meet with local missionaries and try out the LDS and I started going and I eventually gained a testimony and realized that their was no way Joseph Smith was the author of The Book of Mormon I was Baptized in 2012 and I haven't look back since. I am a Mormon, because I know that Heavenly Father lives he loves us no matter where we are from, what religion we are, what we have done, I also know that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is our redeemer and he gives me the power to save me from myself, I also know that about 2000 years ago Christ established a church on the Earth, eventually that Church was destroyed and his original apostles were killed, I also know that about 1800 later the original Church was restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith and I know the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints it that Church and the Bible and the Book of Mormon confirms and testifies the veracity of my religious convictions.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to emulate our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, treating others with dignity and respect, reading my scriptures, and trying my best to be productive and help others be productive.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Brandon
We need a Savior because we live in a world of justice. We have all made mistakes, we have all fell short, and their is nothing that we can do to save ourselves, God cannot dwell in unclean temples so the only thing that can return us to the presence of Heavenly Father is through the atonement of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and if we accept his grace we can one day return to live with our Father in Heaven.
