Hi I'm Saren

I live in Moab UT. I love life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to jeep, ride my bike, and see the beautiful outdoors. I love having quality conversations. I love talking about politics, religion, and anything that I feel like is important. I am serving in the Tennessee, Nashville mission and love being able to share what matters most to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the gospel, but there came a time when I had to decide for myself if I really believed and wanted to continue living it. I decided to pray and ask Heavenly Father if it is true... and He answered. As I have strived to lived the gospel I have come to know for myself that it is true. Our standards are sometimes looked at as restrictive, but as I have grown and experienced life I have only found greater freedom and joy by following them. By obedience to the commandments I have felt my Saviors love more than ever before, I have found purpose and a love for life. Life can be hard, but I've come to know that with the Savior's help it's possible. We don't just have to endure life, when we are following Christ we enjoy and love it. When it comes down to it, the gospel brings happiness. I know it is true because of the happiness and love I feel when I am striving to live the gospel. If ever I have a thought come into my head that may doubt if this gospel is really true it never lasts long because when I think about my life and how happy I am, how healthy I am, how much strength I have, and how wonderful life is to me- it is all a result of living the gospel. The happiness and joy that comes isn't temporary in this gospel- it last forever. The content, love and happiness I feel are to the point where they are beyond words. The gospel has given me a deep love for life. I know it is true with my whole heart.

How I live my faith

I have found lasting happiness in serving others. I try to take every opportunity possible to learn how to forget myself and help others. I love helping others to feel important, included and loved. I believe it is important to bear testimony of our gospel, but more important to truly live it. I try to be an example of this. I try to be an example of the joy this gospel brings. I am happy, and positive. I am not ashamed of my beliefs and stand up for who I am as a member of this church. This gospel makes me a better person. It brings me greater happiness than any material possession on this earth could bring me and I love it. I live it because I know it is true.
