Hi I'm Lexi

I love learning new things about people, places and anything that comes my way! Having adventures is my passion, and Im a Mormon

About Me

I love change! I love having adventures of all kinds and making good food. I have plans to travel the world and learn about all different cultures. I grew up in Utah and I served a full time mission in Nauvoo Illinois, with the winter in Little Rock, Arkansas. I love ASL and am currently teaching it to high school students. I just graduated from college and I am a bit nervous to grow up, but I am sure I will get around to it. I love reading and anything outdoors! Music keeps me alive and I love it with a passion :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised LDS but as I grow up, I have gained a testimony for my self that this church is true. I know the doctrine is true and by living it I am better, happier and stronger as a person. I know the Lord wants me to be happy and that he loves me because He is my Father. I am so thankful for the atonement, I have used it in my life and am so thankful for the opportunity to become whole and clean again. No matter where I look, or what I do, I never find more truth than in this gospel. This is because it is Christs church and He is the head of it. I am a Mormon because through personal revelation, I know that every doctrine in this Church is true. I love that anyone can know the same truth with the a surety that I do by asking God.

How I live my faith

For a while there I found my self felling bad that no one was reaching out to me, I felt alone and I honestly wallowed in it a bit. One day the Lord woke me up a bit and told me that everyone felt that way and that I needed to reach out to them. I try by best to act on inspiration and help other to feel loved and appreciated. I know I cant do this for everyone, but I hope I can make a difference in at least one persons life.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Lexi
We pay tithing to help others around us. By giving that 10% of our money that the Lord has blessed us with, it is used to help other people and also to help build up the church. Show more Show less
