Hi I'm Fai Phermsin

Hi! I was born in Thailand to a Thai mom and a Swedish dad but I grew up in Finland and I'm a Mormon :)

About Me

I come from a big family. We have seven children in our family and I am the second oldest. I love my family! My dream is to be a hotel manager and run my own hotel in Thailand and make it a family business.I will make sure that it will not just stay as a dream :D! I love dancing! I have been dancing ballroom competition dance, hip hop and show dance.I love playing football and I love food! Especially Thai food is my favorite. I also love traveling, traveling around the world is something I want to do in future. I am interested of different cultures and I can't live without any music! At the moment I am serving in England as a missionary. My mission is England London South mission from 2012 to 2014 ! ^.^ 3

Why I am a Mormon

The biggest question I had in my life was if God exist, does He love all of us, not only me but ALL of us!?! I was in school when I first time heard about the restored gospel. It touched me very powerfully when the missionaries showed me the restoration DVD. It's a story about the Prophet Joseph Smith's first vision. I believed in his story and I knew it must be true. I remember thinking to myself "WHY hasn't this been in any news like BBC yet,so that everyone can know that God and Jesus Christ do exist!" Every time missionaries told us something more about the LDS beliefs it was like all the pieces of a puzzles came together. It felt so right and I knew what they were saying was true, and I thought " finally there are some Christians who have some brains in their heads " My doubts about God's love towards us changed and I knew that He lives, He cares about us and that He does love us and wants to be part of our lives and I knew that this must be His true work here on earth! I didn't get baptized after that lesson because I didn't know that it was an option but I got a very strong testimony about the church. Later I found missionaries through my friend and I started to understand more about God. I felt that He sent me especially those two missionaries to teach me almost one year later. My earlier experience was God's way to prepare me for the right time and the right place. Right then I knew what I had to do!

How I live my faith

I use to hate Sundays when I was not a member of the church but all that changed after I got baptized. I love going to church on every Sunday and It's actually my favorite day of the week now! I live my faith by keeping God's commandments. Living the way that God would want me to. Striving to be more Christlike and truly to apply the teachings of Jesus Christ in my everyday life. My motto is "what would Jesus do !?!" & "You better endure to the end so we can hangout in the Celestial kingdom!"
