Hi I'm Sarah Smith

I am serving a full time mission in Argentina Neuquen. I learn every day and then apply it. I am a Mormon. I love it. I live it.

About Me

My name is Sarah and I love to play sports! I especially like to play Volleyball. I enjoy little kids. I have a big family, with 6 brothers and 3 sisters. I have 5 nieces and 2 nephews with one more on the way! I love playing with them so much. I am 7th out of 10 kids. I have 2 little brothers after me. They are so much fun to be around. I have lived with the gospel my whole life. I love to sing, write, and read. I enjoy social events. I love having parties with my friends and family. My family is a big part of my life! I enjoy watching movies a ton. I am currently enrolled in BYU-Idaho, and I was studying Psychology as my major. However, currently I am on a mission to serve in Argentina, Neuquen. I am speaking Spanish to the good people in Argentina. Spanish is a beautiful language with many different rules to speak. It has pushed me very hard to be what I need to be. I've learned to rely on my Savior, Jesus Christ. He has helped me through the good times and the bad times. He is always by our side. I learned so much about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how we can apply it into our lives. I know that when I'm going through difficult times I need to kneel down and pray to get the strength to continue on. Prayer has been such a help through my mission and through my life. I love prayer! I love reading the scriptures, you just learn so much! I'm grateful I'm a Mormon, learning each day! I love my Savior. He lives. He love us.

Why I am a Mormon

One day I was reading my scriptures and it got me thinking, what if this is true? So, naturally, I prayed about it. I had the confimation that this gospel is true. I know that this is the true church. It leads us so perfectly to teach us what we need to know to become more like our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that our Savior died for us, so we can come back to our Heavenly Father. It is such a blessing to also know that we will be able to be with our families forever, even after we have passed on. I know that one day I'll be able to see my brother and sister again. I know that one day I'll be able to live with my family in Heaven again. I know that this is the truth, and this is where we belong. I'm so grateful for it too!

How I live my faith

I go to church every week. I enjoy doing Family Home Evenings. I enjoy talking to people in my ward. Visiting Teaching with my companion is fun because we can teach our friends our messages. I enjoy teaching people. I have being a Sunday school teacher, and I have been a family home evening co-chair associate where I help plan Family Home Evening for our single's ward. While I serve my mission for 18 months, I am able to live my faith and understand the Gospel more fully. I love being able to feel the power and love of God for me and all of His children. I love seeing all the missionaries and when they sing it is the most beautiful thing in the world. I love hearing the power and awesomeness in the power of song. "For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteious is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads." (D&C 25:12) There is power is song. I love being able to more develope my understanding of the gospel by learning to teach those around me. When we teach out investigators I can show them the love my Savior has for them. I want them to feel the power of the Holy Ghost in their life. I want them to know how happy you can be when you have the Lord on your side. I show them my faith by being an example to those around me.
