Hi I'm Justin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated High school this past summer and have since then been working full time, saving up to serve a Mission and to have a good savings account before I attend college. I love to enjoy the simple things in life. I love being in the outdoors and enjoy: hiking, mountain biking, camping and snowboarding. I enjoy playing all sports casually with my friends and I also like to read and of course spend time with friends. I love my family and always try to spend time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was growing up my family wasn't very active in the Church, and I attended every now and again but I knew very little. When I was about to turn 12 years old a Church leader called me and asked if I would like to come to church. I decided I would go for a few weeks and see how I felt about it. I had good feelings and decided I wanted to keep advancing in the Church. As I grew up I was able to learn a lot more and through attending church and other church activities my testimony began to grow. Spiritual experiences and especially prayer and reading my scriptures have helped me to know that I've made the right decision in my life and this Church is true. I am so thankful for this knowledge. The Church is true, and Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who helped restore the church back to this Earth. I know that God lives and that he cares for each and everyone of us, He is always looking out for us and wants to hear our prayers, and will answer those prayers as we try to come closer to Him. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and he died for our sins. I'm thankful that through his sacrifice I can be in the presence of our Heavenly Father again. Not only that but through the Atonement he has felt the same pains that I feel and can be a comfort to me anytime I need His love and support. I know the Book of Mormon is true, it has blessed my life in countless ways. It has helped me to make the right decisions and has helped me to become a better person. The truths that it holds will bless our lives forever, and will help us to feel the Spirit and get our lives on the paths they should be. I am so thankful for my testimony, it not only gives me an eternal perspective but helps me in this life. It reminds me to be happy and to choose the right. I know that God loves, me and loves everyone us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by first attending church every Sunday. I have recently been given the wonderful opportunity to be a Sunday School teacher for young children in my ward. It has been a great help for me to get to spend time with the children and to try and teach them the simple truths of the Gospel. I also try do service for those in need that live in my ward. One opportunity that I have been given is to take the Sacrament to those who are unable to come to Church themselves, it has been great to help those feel good and be able to help them partake of something they cherish. Attending the temple is another great way to feel His spirit.
