Hi I'm Joce

I'm from Idaho. I love sports, and being outdoors. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play soccer and I love to cook any food, whether it be cookies or grilled chicken. I snowboard and love doing anything outdoors, such as dirtbiking, boating, camping or watching the sunset. I studied at Southern Virginia University for 1 year and am now serving a mission in the great country of Costa Rica. I love my family and wouldn't know where I would be without them, or this great gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into the church, I still had to find out if it was true for myself. I needed to gain my own testimony and do the right things for myself, to make me happy, not just others. I am a Mormon because even though I go through trials, God gives them to me because he knows I can handle them and he is there to help me along the way. I know the plan of salvation is the plan of happiness, I've lost those I love, but I know they are living happily now and free of pain, and watching over me leading me on the straight and narrow. There are so many wonderful people in this church that love and support me in all that I do, and I know that God wants me to succeed while I am here on Earth. That is why i am serving a mission, so he can see the rest of his children succeed.

How I live my faith

I volunteer to make a difference in any community. I serve faithfully in my callings and help others reach goals by doing so. I try to be a friend to everyone. Living the commandments God has given me helps me daily. I try to be a good example, and do the right thing, because you never know who is watching. I pray daily to my Heavenly Father because I know he is always listening, and when I need answers from him, I read the scriptures daily as well.
