Hi I'm Carson

I love soccer. I love the outdoors. I'm a twin. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing soccer. I have played soccer ever since I was 2 years old! I played for the Real Salt Lake youth academy team. I have played in a college national championship and a youth national championship. I have played soccer in Germany for the Region IV ODP team. I also love the outdoors. My Dad and I love to go fishing. We have fished all over the western United States. Living in Utah also provides me with tons of opportunities to spend time outdoors snowboarding, hiking, water skiing. I have three brothers and a twin sister. I spending time and doing things with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my life I have been surrounded by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and never really questioned why I decided to choose to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. It wasn't until I started to get really serious about soccer. I was making a lot of traveling teams and college coaches began to talk to me about coming to play for their schools. I thought at that point in my life that soccer was everything! My senior year in high school I was coming up on the decision whether or not i wanted to serve a mission or not. I knew that if i wanted to play college soccer that i probably wouldn't serve a mission. At first I was okay with that decision until i saw my oldest brother serve his mission and how happy serving others made him. I decided to pray about it and ask God what he would have me do. So one night began to sincerely pray with all my heart for the first time and got an overwhelming answer from God that i needed to serve a mission. Since that time i have not regretted my decision for one second. I now have a mission call to serve in the Russia, Rostov-na-Donu Mission. Being a mormon has brought so much happiness to my life. To know that i can be with my family for forever and return to live with my Heavenly Father makes me so happy even on hard and difficult times. I love my savior and am so grateful for the sacrifice he has made for me, without which i couldn't return to live with my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others in my community with my Dad and other men in my ward. I spend time each week preparing lessons for the primary kids that i teach and participating in church services. I also live my faith by enjoying life and having fun with friends in family.
