Hi I'm Kayla

I grew up in utah, i am a college student, and i am a Mormon.

About Me

I am Kayla and i am a lot of things. First off i am a family member. I am the second oldest of five and we are all very close. We really enjoy spending time creating memories that we will laugh about for years and years after. I am also a college student at BYUI and i love getting my education. Learning took on a new meaning to me when i got to college and ideally if i could i would just take classes for the very best professors and never get a degree. Yet since that is not an option i am going into the nursing program. I love being out side, as cliche as that is. I am a minor runner, i sprinted all through high school and when i graduated i picked up distance running. There is nothing that makes me happier then a trip to moab, or a back packing adventure.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i know it is right. I am lucky to have generations of family members that have been part of this church, and i can see how happy it makes all of us to share this belief in our words and actions. I do not think there could be a happier group of people and i have seen the gospel change people who have not been given ideal circumstances and yet through the gospel, they have ideal lives. I have seen it happen to me and many others and i know that the saviors healing powers are real, and that is why i am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by allowing it to be part of my life. I try to let it fill every action i make. I try to serve other as much as i can. I have a younger sister with muscular dystrophy and i volunteer at her summer camp every summer. It is a huge highlight of my year. I also teach in the sunday school and that is a wonderful experience. I get to deepen my understanding and then find ways to allow the spirit to deepen others understanding as i teach.
