Hi I'm Joseph Simpson

I am a university student, a friend, and a missionary. I am a Mormon

About Me

I play rugby, workout, and am going to school for a degree in Chemistry. I am serving my mission in the Colorado Denver North area.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. I know that he is a prophet and was called of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is a record of the ancient people of the Americas and that Joseph Smith did translate it. I also know that the Book of Mormon is the best way for us to draw closer to Christ, to follow His example and live His teachings. I have read it for myself. I have prayed about it. And I know that it is true. This is Christ's restored church here on this earth. I am blessed to be a part of it. I am grateful for the opportunity to be so. It's tough to see the reason behind losing a father. I lost mine when I was 18. So I turned to the Book of Mormon. I knew that if it is a true testament of Christ it would have the answers. I read and I prayed and because of that I was able to find out, for myself, whether this church was true or not. I can say now that it is. The leaders of the church are called of God, everything in this church is for the benefit of its members. It helps us draw closer to Jesus, it gives us true happiness and peace in this life.

How I live my faith

Well, right now I have the unique opportunity to spend two years of my life as a representative of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and His church. I am able to share the Gospel with as many people as I can during this time and because of it I get to live my faith every day. I get up and I am in my scriptures for two hours reading them, marking them, taking notes and learning more about Jesus Christ and His Doctrine. I then go out for the day and talk to people that I see, teach those who are interested in learning more and I invite everyone to build their faith in God.
