Hi I'm Easton

I grew up in the little town of Kirtland, New Mexico. I love to play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 18 years old. I graduated from high school at the top of my class. My family and I farm alfalfa hay for a living. We farm 250 acres. I love to play play sports. I'm very competitive. Football is my passion. I would love to go and play at the college level when i return from serving my mission.I am a Eagle Scout. I enjoy spending time with my family. We spend a lot of time together. They mean so much to me. They are my support group, my fan club, and my example. I have 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I also love the outdoors. Hunting is another one of my passions. My faith in my Heavenly Father and in his son Jesus Christ guides and directs my life today. It gives me a purpose and a way to return to live with him again.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i know that the church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is the true church. That our Loving Heavenly Father restored his church once again to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. That through divine revelation from God we have a true and living Prophet today, who is Thomas Monson. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God ant that every word in it is true. That God loves and knows each one of us personally. He know are wants, our needs, our greatest desires, that he want us to return to live with him again and the only way to do that is through his church. I know that Christ is my savior. That he came to this earth and suffered and died for me. That he was resurrected. That he lives today and he leads and guides his church today. I know that through his plan we can return to live with him. I know that families can be together for ever because of temples and the power of the priesthood. This means so much to me. It comforts me to know that i will be with family for time and all eternity if will just follow his plan and do whats right.

How I live my faith

In my ward we give lots of service. Me and others of my ward chop wood for the widows, the elderly, and those who need it. We mow their lawn and clean up their yards. As a youth body we make Christmas baskets and go caroling. We do a highway clean up. For my Eagle Scout project, with the help other built a beautiful arch for the entrance to our local cemetery. I have the calling to teach the 9 year old children in primary about the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a joy and a blessing to be able to tech them every week. They have such great testimonies and love for their Savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.
