Hi I'm Connor

I'm a returned missionary. I love rugby. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

What do I do with my life? Well, sit around and I'll share some of my story with you =) I'm in my early 20's and I am halfway through my Bachelors in Accounting, I love rugby, riding horses, and spending time with friends and family. I've worked doing different things from brick laying, sales for a lawn care company, and home renovations. The greatest thing about me, I share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS Church with my 3 siblings. I grew up knowing stories from The Book of Mormon and the Bible, to me they were as true as any history book. Asking if God is real was like asking if the sky is blue; it was just a natural conclusion. After many hardships and trials, I let my faith in Jesus Christ slip away from me, I felt abandoned. Later in my teenage life, after deciding that my life was lacking some key element, I made a choice, that choice was to find God. The faith of my childhood seemed like a last resort, how could that possibly be the answer? I went to a Catholic High School for 4 years, I read from sacred books such as the Torah and the Qur'an, I looked into Buddhism, and different Christian faiths... the list goes on. All of these faiths have great things to offer to the world but there was one last source I needed to check first, the religion I grew up in. After reading The Book of Mormon I came to know that this is the full and true Church, that Jesus Christ is the head of it and that He willingly gave his life to pay for my sins, and that there is a true and living prophet on the Earth today. Why am I a Mormon? Because it is the Lord's Kingdom upon the Earth and you can come to know it too.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday, 24/7, from sun up to sun down and everything in between. For the past 2 years I have served as a full-time missionary in Edmonton, Canada. Everyday I had the privilege to talk with people about how a belief in Christ can be as real as the screen in front of you. I was blessed before I left to be able to teach young children on Sundays at church. These 5 and 6 year old kids were amazing, their belief in God is pure and simple. In life we complicate everything, from work to family life to our own identity as children of God. Ask a child who Jesus Christ is and you will get an answer which will soften your heart and increase your faith; this applies whether you are a self proclaimed "non-believer" or a chosen Apostle of Christ. How do I live it? I SHARE IT!
