Hi I'm Jacob Brown

I was born in Sandy Utah, spent most of my life in Payson Utah, I have been a Mormon all my life.

About Me

I grew up in the church and have been taught about the gospel all my life. While in high school I played soccer, and I was also in the band. I play the clarinet. I love most sports and I love music. I am working full time as a carpet cleaner. It is hard work and I love it, I have a different experience each day, it keeps my job interesting not boring.

Why I am a Mormon

As I said earlier I grew up with the gospel in my life, I did not really know what it meant to be a member of the LDS Church. I went to all the activities and participated as much as I wanted to. I always knew it was true, or thought I knew it was true, it was not until a few years ago that I actually understood what I was learning and how it would help me in my life. I started studying more and reading the scriptures more often. I attended church regularly and loved it. I always get a good feeling whenever I go to church, I know that it is the Holy Ghost testifying to me that this is where I need to be. I am really grateful for the opportunity to grow up with the church in my life. Knowing myself I would probably be not be a member if I had not grown up with it, I would have been too stubborn to listen. Now that I know of the truthfulness of the gospel for myself I want to go out and share it with those who do not know it for themselves. By sharing my testimony on this site is one way to do it, soon I will be out there as a missionary actually teaching people and sharing my testimony in person. I know if I stay faithful and continue to study the gospel I can bless the lives of so many others by sharing what I know.

How I live my faith

I currently go to both my home ward and the singles ward. My home ward starts at 9 on Sundays and my singles ward starts at 1. I have two different institute classes, one on Tuesday the other on Wednesday. On Tuesday I go to a missionary preparation class, on Wednesday I go to a Book of Mormon class. I try to find at least one opportunity each and every day to serve someone. I am a Sunday school teacher for the 5 year olds in my home ward, and I am on the activities committee in my singles ward. both callings help keep me busy, and I love the work that I do.
