Hi I'm Pearson

I grew up Utah. I'm nineteen years old. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy longboarding and playing video games. I love all sorts of TV shows. I'm going to university for a Biochemistry/Pre-Med major. I love learning about the mysteries of the universe and of the human race. I'm naturally curious about things.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it answers the questions of where we came from, why we are here on earth, and where we are going after this life. This is the only church that can give me those answers and help me prepare to live with God again. I know this church is true and that if you truly want to improve the quality of your life the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints can help you do that. This church is the only one that can help you in all facets of your life. I would invite you to talk to the missionaries if this is something that would mean something to you. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good example for the people around me. I know the commandments God has given me and strive every day to keep them. I take an active part in the lives of people in my congregation by going to their homes and teaching them the gospel of Jesus Christ. To uplift their spirit and also my own.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

The Holy Bible is just that holy, it is Holy Scripture and contains the writings of many ancient prophets and apostles. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints also use other scriptures of ancient and modern date in addition to the Holy Bible, for example The Book of Mormon, which takes place between 2000 years before the birth of Christ to 400 years after his birth. I know these prophetic writings to be the words of God and were given to bring happiness and hope in these dark times. Show more Show less
