Hi I'm Micahel

I live in Arizona, I am a missionary in Olongapo Philippines, I am a volleyball player, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 and I leave on my mission Jan 2, 2013. In high school I played football, soccer, and volleyball. I also spent one term in my school's student government. I have always loved sports and my favorite sport is football, but my freshman year I received a brain injury that would end my football career forever. I then began to play soccer and volleyball, which became some of my other favorite sports. It was difficult to lose football at the time, but now I can see all the good things I have been able to do with my spare time. After high school I worked as a construction worker construing interstate highway signs to pay for my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is 100% true. That is all that needs to be said. I would not join a church that was untrue, or even partially true. And that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Currently, I live my faith by serving a mission. As a youth I performed countless hours of service, both church related and non-church related. I enjoy giving service and I am glad for all the opportunities the church gives me to do so,

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

Micahel
The church loves all sons and daughter of god! God does love and will continue to love all his homosexual children just as much as all his other children. That being said God also has declared that marriage is between a man and a woman. Also understand that there is no sin in having homosexual feelings, the only sin is in acting upon the desires. It is the same way for God's "straight" children, the sin come when unrighteous desires are acted upon. Show more Show less
