Hi I'm Kimberly Paulsen

I grew up in Utah. I have been called to serve a mission in Fort Worth Texas. I will leave onDecember 19, 2012.

About Me

I am 22 years old and am currently taking time off from school to serve a mission. I have always loved meeting new people and making friends. recently I have discovered aerial silk, and have learned a lot from it and have even been lucky to preform two times.

Why I am a Mormon

For my whole life I have been raised as a Mormon in Utah. However when I was a teenager I struggled with the gospel. But as the years went on I felt alone and that there was an emptyness inside of me. I had great friends and a wonderful family who have always done their best to show me that they loved and supported me. Even with such great love and support in my life I still felt like something important was missing. I constantly wondered why I was feeling this, and why I was feeling so alone when in the past I had never had that happened. I then remembered that the difference in my life was that I missed the gospel in my life. even though I was still going to church I had closed off my heart from my heavenly father. I realized that I had to make changes in my life if I wanted to be closer to god and feel his love. I had to see for myself on whether the gospel was true and went through a lot of trials to get rid of some of the bad habits that I had picked up. It was hard but the blessings and the love that I have felt every day have been worth giving them up. I have always wanted to serve a mission and am so excited and look forward to helping those, like me who have felt sadness of being alone. I want them to remember what it is like to have our heavenly father be close by.

How I live my faith

In my previous singles ward I have been a Teacher for the women and the Family Home Evening Co-Chair. I am also going on a mission and have been going to the temple with my mom at least once a week.
