Hi I'm Eric

I grew up on a dairy farm in the Rocky Mountains. I'm now a pharmacist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a farm boy at heart and I love the out doors and enjoying God's green earth. I went to pharmacy school and now I love being a pharmacist so I can help people everyday. I grew up in a big family and now I have a beautiful family of my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have studied, read, and prayed about the doctrines, and I have felt the Holy Ghost confirm to me that it is true. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and Joseph Smith was a true prophet. Because I know these are true, I will be a Mormon for the rest of my life and I will raise my children so they can also know these things are true for themselves.

How I live my faith

Some different ways I live my faith everyday is by teaching my kids how to pray, who Jesus is, and they have a loving Heavenly Father. I am fortunate to teach a lesson at church once a month, and also to make visits with the missionaries. Everyday, whether at work or play, I try to remember the promises I have made to God and that helps me make correct decisions and to do what is right.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon was written by ancient prophets, like in the Bible, that started in Jerusalem and fled to the Americas. For about 1000 years many prophets kept records of the people, good and bad, and also the teachings about Jesus. One of these prophets, named Mormon, took all of these records and abridged them onto golden plates. These plates were buried for another 1000 years until they were given to Joseph Smith Jr and translated by the power of God. Show more Show less
