Hi I'm Sarah Transier

I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm currently a student and have studied at Brigham Young University- Idaho. I love to create things and making sweets is one of my favorite things. I'm a big believer in cupcakes , eating, but mostly making them. I love to laugh and I have been blessed with the most amazing family and friends who bring so much joy into my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents both joined the church when they were in high school. This decision my parents made 25 years ago is something that has blessed my life forever. I was baptized when I was 8 and loved growing up in the church. It wasn't until later though I learned for myself that this gospel is who I am and something that I want to be a constant in my life. I have a strong testimony of the joy that this gospel brings to my life. I have found that there is a difference between joy and happiness. With the Gospel of Jesus Christ, even in my unhappiest moments, when the world seemed dark and heaven seemed very far, I have felt joy through the knowledge I have that there is so much more to life than we can see in this moment of trial. I know that we are here on earth for a purpose and that we have a Heavenly Father who knows and loves us with a perfect love. I have a Savior, Jesus Christ, who came to earth to die for us and has felt all of these moments of pain so that we wont have to walk alone through them.

How I live my faith

I learned the importance of creating an environment where you can tune out the world for at least a little bit and have a tiny bit of heaven, even in the most inconvenient places. When I left home for the first time I realized that it was up to me if I wanted to maintain the spirit in whatever home I lived in. I found out fast that I had the ability to get caught up in the world and let the spiritual things be set aside too easily. I rediscovered the importance of reading my scriptures, praying to my Heavenly Father and to make time for peace with the gospel a priority. I know the difference in my life when I have the gospel as the center focus and let everything else fall into place rather than the other way around.
