Hi I'm McKay

I'm from California. Im student body president of my high school. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am in a family of 11. I am the the middle child and I love it. I feel like I'm best friends with my younger and older siblings. I was able to be student body president of my high school which was way fun, and I graduated in May and am now going to BYU for college. I play all sports, football, basketball, soccer, baseball, but my favorite sport is pickle ball. Its like a smaller version of tennis and anyone young or old can play and is easily my favorite. I love my family very much, when I was 15 my father passed away of colon cancer and it was very hard. It was my 8 siblings and I and my mom, but through the gospl of Jesus Christ I was able to know that my family can be together forever and it gave me the strength to not give up but to accomplish all that I can, because thats what my dad expects of me and I'm going to make him proud.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I am a Mormon is because I know it is the truth. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior more than anything and I know that this is what he wants me to be doing. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. I might only be 19, but I can assure you that I have never so sure of anything in my entire life. I know that Christs church was off the earth at one point but because he loves us so much he established his church on this earth again though Joseph Smith and with the Book of Mormon. Our Heavenly Father sent his beloved son to atone for our sins, so that our sins are remembered no more and that we can be clean to live with our Heavenly Father again. Our Father in Heaven loves us so much, and he knows each of us and cares for each of us individually. I know this is to be true.

How I live my faith

I love going to chuch. Its a great way to learn more about the gospel and about the messages that bring me the spirit that I cant live without. I was able to serve as an assistant to my Bishop of my ward which was great. I was incharge of making sure the kids younger than me were included and participated in the wards activites. I was also incharge of making sure that the ward was taken care of. I loved this calling because it gave me the opportunity to be more like my Savior and care about my brothers and sisters of my ward.
