Hi I'm Keanu

I grew up in Hawaii on the Island of Kauai, but now resides in Washington. I love to play football and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Keanumaukealoha and I've been a Mormon for over a year now. I'm a high school graduate. I held off from continuing with furthering my education due to wanting to serve as a full-time missionary. After completing a full-time mission, I will enlist into the Air Force. My interests are playing sports, such as football and basketball. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family. I am called to serve as a full-time Spanish-speaking missionary in the Orlando Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon because i wanted to know if I could be able to be forgiven after making so much mistakes. Before I became a Mormon and have heard of this religion through missionaries, I taught I couldn't make any mistakes and if i make a mistake, I wouldn't be able to receive happiness. But, after many visits from the missionaries, I have learned that everyone makes mistakes. Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for all mankind to be forgiven. Through the Atonement, I can be forgiven for those mistakes I have made by repentance and be able to receive fullness of joy and happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by accepting my calling and strive to obey God's commandments. My calling in the church is a ward missionary, which I assist our full-time missionaries in teaching people who are interested in learning more about the gospel. Reading the Book of Mormon has helped me to stay true to the faith.
